I Never Thought I’d Start a Christian Clothing Brand
For real though, I didn’t see this comin’.
Wasn’t in my plans. I wasn’t tryna be no clothing brand owner. I was just a kid makin’, kicking a ball around and trappin' you know stackin’ a lil money on the side. Then one day in this one class, I told my teacher I made 5K off Roblox clothing, and he hit me with:
"If you can design like that on the game, why not start a real brand?"
I laughed. “Naw, I ain’t doing that.”
He then said
"No, really, if you know how to market well in Roblox. Why don't you turn that into the fashion space? Obviously, you're going to earn more, and I know plenty of people who would love to wear whatever you design."
But that line "If you can design like that on the game, why not start a real brand?" got stuck in my head like a loop. And one day, I came across this verse:
"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others..." (1 Peter 4:10)
Then, not long after, I stumbled on another one:
"So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God." (1 Corinthians 10:31)
That was it.
I realized I wasn’t just good at clothes — I had a voice, a presence, a gift to create. And I wasn’t gon’ waste that. I had to glorify God with it. That’s when the whole mission clicked.
Retronova wasn’t just some random name. It was purpose. I started with print-on-demand just to get some pieces out. But deep down, I knew I wasn’t built for average. I was built to move people.
This ain’t no cash grab. This is Kingdom business.
This brand got people rethinkin’ what faith looks like.
It ain’t suits and silence. It’s bold. It’s real. It’s who I am.

What’s Retronova Mean?
“Retro” is the foundation — the Old Testament, the roots, the story before the Saviour.
“Nova” is the light — Jesus, the New Testament, the new creation.
Together, it’s about bein’ rooted in truth and shining with purpose.
